Networking

Nowadays the value of an IT network can no longer be ignored due to the facilities it creates for the company. An IT network is the backbone to accommodate the various services that are being provided by the employees. Think about the access it creates to a central financial system, a central HR system, or the Internet.

A network consists of various components (including switches, routers, and firewalls) that are connected by network cabling. In a wireless network, the users are connected to different access points in order to achieve connectivity. It is also possible to wirelessly connect multiple branches to each other so that the systems and processes can be managed centrally.

Server Upgrade & Virtualization

The RPBG offers various server deployments. Consider it to be like setting up a completely new system where a physical server is required. Because the RPBG has partnerships with various international suppliers which are specialized in applying these techniques, we are able to offer any possible custom solutions.

We also have the required knowledge and experience to use the hardware as optimal as possible. As such it is possible to apply virtualization techniques, whereby an operating system is installed on a physical server to create virtual compartments so that a different server can be set up in each compartment. These different compartments can very easily be backed up and transferred to another physical server with the same underlying technology, which guarantees continuity and makes more efficient use of the available capacity.

Unified Communications

VoIP as A Service

An On-Premise VoIP solution has many advantages. All telecommunication operations can be centralized, enabling registration of telephone traffic, management of operational functions and applications, and monitoring. It is possible to configure the system completely according to your wishes for each individual user by defining calling rights, such as calling limits by time and destination e.g. calling international numbers or mobile numbers. Our VoIP systems include communications solutions to enhance the mobility and flexibility required for businesses of all sizes. They are affordable and versatile, thus allowing your business to operate at a high level, comparable to large-scale systems, without worrying about high licensing or recurring costs. This solution offers telephone system functions such as free inter-branch calling, music on hold, cheap international calling, calling restrictions, call recording and much more.

With Business VoIP, it is easy for any business, regardless of their size, to operate on the same level of professionalism that customers expect from large-scale business systems.

SIP Trunking

SIP stands for “Session Initiation Protocol” and is used to set up voice connections between VoIP devices. A SIP trunk is actually a telephone connection where incoming and outgoing calls run over a network connection instead of a traditional telephone line. This makes it easier to acquire a telephone line for both small businesses and large companies.

Benefits of SIP Trunking

  • Enterprise solutions at affordable prices.
  • Flexibility in the number of channels available.
  • Qualitatively better than analog lines.
  • You can assign an outgoing telephone number (CallerID) all by yourself

Contact Center Software

With our Contact Center Software solutions we offer a modular solution for hotdesking, advanced queueing and sophisticated reporting. Your standard business telephony system will be enhanced with a specific add-on especially for contact centers, that has functionalities such as:

  • Dashboards with SLAs,
  • Barge options to listen in on conversations
  • Follow the registration and deregistration of agents as well as the performance measurement per queue.

Summarizing, we offer sophisticated telephony systems as turnkey solutions to contact centers.

SD-WAN

What is SD-WAN?

Software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) solutions transform the capabilities of an organization by leveraging a corporate wide-area network (WAN) as well as multi-cloud connectivity to deliver super-fast application performance at the WAN edge of branches. One of the main advantages of SD-WAN is that it provides a dynamic route between connectivity options such as MPLS, 4G / 5G, or broadband, so organizations can quickly and easily access business-critical cloud applications.

Why SD-WAN? Advantages and benefits
  • Improved user experience: The underlying technology in SD-WAN makes remote sites easier to connect to networks, with lower latency, better performance, and more reliable connectivity. At a time when users are demanding much more from their applications and infrastructure with unprecedented speed and scale, engaging user experience can be a failure or success.
  • Lower total cost of ownership: MPLS and other connectivity technologies are not only obsolete, but they are also more expensive when the total cost of ownership (TCO) is regarded. SD-WAN significantly lowers bandwidth costs, providing benefits such as zero-touch provisioning, automation of processes, and reducing the amount of hardware and manual management required for success.
  • Simplicity: As network infrastructures have evolved, the proliferation of products used for networking and security can make things quite complicated. SD-WAN leverages automation and other benefits to make connectivity a simpler process in mixed environments, including on-premise, hybrid, and cloud.
  • Multi-cloud readiness: With more than 90% of enterprises investing in a multi-cloud strategy today, the right SD-WAN solution makes that environment easier to manage. Multi-cloud is not the same as hybrid cloud, which integrates public and private clouds to optimize performance, security, and flexibility. Multi-cloud simply means that organizations have the flexibility to select the best cloud provider for each of their different infrastructure and application needs. Because of its automation capabilities and also where it is strategically located in the network, SD-WAN has become the preferred solution for rapidly evolving cloud network innovations.
  • Better security in general: an SD-WAN solution must have integrated security; otherwise it is just another connectivity option that unfortunately becomes a target for attacks. When implemented correctly, an SD-WAN helps improve the company's overall security.

Disaster Recovery & Continuity

Since companies are investing more and more in automation, it is important to realize that the continuity of business operations is highly dependent on the technology used. It is therefore important as a company to invest in a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plan. This plan is tailor-made and is in line with the implemented techniques. In such a plan the maximum time allowed for a particular service to be offline and the actions that must be taken to resume the service are listed.

When procedures and/or systems are changed, such a plan must always be adjusted, while it should be tested regularly also to make sure that continuity is guaranteed after an incident.

The RPBG has an arsenal of techniques that can contribute to shortening the downtime of systems, securing those systems and/or accommodate a fallback solution.
